Recharge the Soul!
My husband and I, along with a group of friends had an absolutely incredible weekend at the Wilderness Resort. We couldn't have asked for better weather in May, the sun was shining and it just made the gorgeous scenery even more stunning. The property is so secluded and removed from neighbours that you can literally hear the flap of a birds wings, and the sweet ripple sound of the tide going out from your tent cabin and in from the dock. We stayed in a tent cabin and I haven't slept so well in ages! Nothing but the sounds of nature and complete silence. The bed was awesome, the mattress was nice and firm and the sheets and duvet were lovely and kept us nice and cozy in the colder evenings. We loved our serene canoe rides around the inlet, and checking out all the wildlife in the ocean and along the shore. We jumped out at a few places and just enjoyed the scenery and the glass smooth ocean waters. We made our own breakfast and lunches, but had two awesome chefs cook us our dinners. Can't say enough about both meals and it allowed us to all sit together and have some great dinner conversations while the wine was flowing! The boat rides there and back were also enjoyable. It was cool to see where the road and houses end along the way, and then just kilometres of trees for the last 20 minutes of the ride. On the way there is really sets the tone for what you are about to experience. Way back is a taste back into reality, boo! Overall I would highly recommend a visit here to recharge the soul and take a break from everything technical and just relax and enjoy the people you are with and the wildlife you share the property with! Thanks Corinne, we hope to have you all back again sometime soon!
Amazing, relaxing experience!
"What an amazing, relaxing experience! Gorgeous landscape surrounds you in this rustic, tranquil retreat. We had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Wilderness Resort. Lots of fun trails to explore and the wood burning hot tub was a unique perk! Situated just off the bay, the cabin amenities provide you with everything you need, including comfortable beds and bedding for a cozy and quiet rest. Peter and Val took great care of us, including arranging a couple of amazing, catered dinners. Thank you both! I look forward to returning!" Jen Laker
