Bearfoot Beach House is located at the east end of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake in the quiet community of Balfour, BC.
100 feet of soft sandy beach is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom , full sized kitchen. Perfect retreat for a couple or two (max 4 person occupancy). South facing the views of the lake and the mountains are breath taking. Relax under the large covered porch with a good book or head out and explore the region.
Balfour is central to so many activities. The Kootenay's offer so many places to explore via car, bike or the local transit is steps away. From Balfour golf course is a short 3 mins drive up the road and several other golf courses (all with unique fairways, greens and lovely views) within an hours drive.
Kokanee Provincial Park 10 min down the road, west towards Nelson, Kokanee Park has so much to offer. Zipline across the Kokanee Creek, take an easy stroll around Gibson Lake, be more ambitiious and head from Gibson Lake to Kokanee Lake and on to Kalso Lake and Kokanee Glacier.
At Bearfoot Beach House, you will find, sheets and linens, fully stocked kitchen, wi-fi, cable tv, bbq, cleaning products, campfire pit (wood provided) and a selection of indoor and outdoor games.
