Our two charming cabins are located on a beautiful rural property in Seymour Arm, B.C. The cabins have a private sandy beach with a cedar wharf and a sturdy mooring buoy for your boat.
JOE'S CABINS AND RETREAT:

Two fire pits on the property; seasoned firewood provided
12 x 20 foot dock with a 25 foot gangplank
A secure mooring buoy, located in the deep water, suitable for any power boat

Sleeps 6 people comfortably in two large semi-private bedrooms upstairs:

Well equipped kitchen - all dishes, pots, pans and utensils are provided
Television and a Blue Ray player (cable is not available)
Bathroom complete with tub/shower
Large deck with BBQ, table and chairs overlooking the lake

More than 1500 square feet of living space
Sleeps 8 people comfortably:

Queen, double and a single bed
Two smaller bedrooms downstairs: Single bed in each

SEYMOUR ARM COMMUNITY AND AREA:
Off the beaten track, rural B.C. Beautiful, pristine area Historic community, dating back to the gold-rush era (Ogden City). Floating store, accessible by boat or car - well stocked with essentials and a liquor store. Large public wharf for launching boats Two provincial parks in the area: Silver Beach, located across the lake from us offering beautiful deep white sandy beach. Albas Provincial Park, short drive or boat ride west of Seymour Arm; great for hiking,beautiful series of waterfalls.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Seymour Arm is located about 2 hours from the Trans-Canada Hwy. The road runs through many small communities along the north shore of Shuswap Lake, followed by 42 kilometers of a well- maintained gravel road with some amazing views of the lake. Seymour Arm does not have access to BC hydro. Our property is run by a very green energy source using mountain-runoff water as well as solar panels to generate power right on our property. This system quietly produces enough electricity for lights, TV and some appliances. It works very well for everything except electric appliances with a heating element such as a coffee pot, toaster, curling iron or blow dryer. Cell phone reception on our property seems to be improving over time, but is still intermittent for some models. (Our iphone works off of the beach quite well.) There are a couple of locations nearby that have WiFi or you can travel a short distance down the lake to get reception. Laundry facilities are available approximately 1 hour away.
